For vein patients, medical insurance usually covers the first consultation appointment, as well as the ultrasound diagnostic workup. Most insurance also covers vein treatment when it alleviates leg pain, heaviness, aching, swelling, or breakdown of the skin. Pre-approval from your insurance company is recommended. If we are contracted with your insurer, we will bill the insurance company. For non-contracted insurers, we will bill once as a courtesy, and any remainder owed is your responsibility.
Payment for uninsured services is due at the time of treatment either by cash, check, or major credit card (Visa, Mastercard).
Cancellations for office visits and aesthetic procedures require 48 hour notice. “No Shows” and cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will result in a $40 charge.
Surgical vein procedures and sclerotherapy require 2 week notice for reschedule or cancellation. Because these procedures represent a large block of time reserved for you, less than 2 week notice will result in a $100 charge. This must be paid before we can reschedule your procedure.
Cancellation fees may be waived at our discretion for family or medical emergencies.
